Glas-Col Thermocouple Type "J"
A thermocouple is a sensor that measures temperature. This type of sensor consists of two different types of metals that when welded together create a junction and small voltage which is then read by an indicator or control. Glas-Col offers thermocouples in various types, diameters and probe lengths.
Type J: is the most frequently used thermocouple, and it consists of a positive (Iron) and a negative (Constantan) leg.
